Follow Me: The Infantry’s Game™ is a game of military strategy and domination. It was developed to teach junior military leaders, both commissioned and non-commissioned officers, to maintain situational awareness on the battlefield while orchestrating the elements of combat power with their designated units. It would be wise for players of this game to apply the principles of warfare when planning, coordinating, and executing their game strategy.

This game is played on a gridded game board by two or more players who use Follow Me™ game pieces to maneuver and fire on their opponents in order to accomplish a chosen game objective. The game pieces represent the warriors, leaders, supports, and assets that are employed on the field of battle, and their fate is determined by a roll of the dice. The game ends when the chosen game objective is accomplished by the winning player.

About the creator:

FOLLOW ME: The Infantry’s Game®    was created by Battle Boards founder and CEO Nick Jacobson, a disabled veteran who served as a captain in the U.S. Army Infantry.  When asked about why he created this game, he said:

"As a junior Infantry officers, we were routinely encouraged by our mentors and commanders to play board games, like chess, in order to condition a more strategic mindset. And while I've always loved the game of chess and believe it is a valuable tool for learning strategy, it lacks the proper representation of conditions found on the modern battlefield and thus restricts a player's ability to apply today's concepts and principals of warfare. And that is why I created 'FOLLOW ME: The Infantry's Game'. It is both a game and mission planning tool that I hope will serve our warfighters as they plan and prepare for the defense of our nation and the protection of our freedoms."
